Artist: Tim Singley

Tim Singley is an artist with many interests.  From pen and ink drawings with fine details, oil painting, photography, wood turning to carving, his eagerness to learn new avenues for his creativity are never sated. 

Tim started his career as a law enforcement officer, and once the department learned of his artistic ability, sent him to training to become their lead forensic artists, one of only a few in the state, specializing in composites and forensic crime scene sketching.  He spent over a decade in law enforcement.

He is originally from Columbia, Mississippi and never thought he would leave, but now splits his time between Midland, Tx and Mississippi with his wife and son, who they had the honor of homeschooling.  His son, Logan is now training for a career as a firefighter and a pilot.

After Logan was born, Tim moved into the oil and gas industry, where he has built his career and continues to work.  This is how his interest has intersected with his artwork, and the new art has just taken off in the industry.

    You never know what he will be learning next, but whatever it is, it will be done with eagerness, with roots in his faith in God and with his family in mind.
